It has been close to two years since BlackStorm Consulting team first went back to Malaysia after the travel restrictions. BlackStorm Consulting has since met many amazing partners and managed to set up a talented team to serve valuable clients in the region. Let’s talk to our latest shareholder in BlackStorm Consulting Malaysia!
How has it been like with BlackStorm Consulting?
It’s my honour to be part of BlackStorm Consulting’s large network of the ecosystem and help organisations to establish better positioning and their own ecosystem. Based on Blackstorm’s past experience in helping their clients, we have connected the independent industry players to work together in delivering solutions that they couldn’t fulfil on their own with limited resources. By doing so, they will be able to expand their market access and customer base with existing offerings.
Where do you see BlackStorm Consulting fit in the Malaysia market?
In 2022, we have seen many startups, SMEs and corporates seeking help to recover from the post-pandemic impact. The majority of them encounter issues of building strategic resilience and adapting to customers’ changing needs.
The traditional strategy doesn’t work well as companies need to open up to new markets and react faster than their competitors. BlackStorm Consulting has been providing insights and guidance on how to rethink and reinvent its existing business. We help them to identify their main challenge and how to adapt to long-term resilience by encouraging a culture of flexibility.
Innovators will have higher costs and time to educate people to adapt to their technology.
BlackStorm has experienced advisors and consultants in solving these problems with a slight tweak of business model, cutting-edge technology and identifying suitable partners to maximise the use of government resources. We have been working with public sectors and agencies in Taiwan, Thailand and so on.
As a shareholder in BlackStorm, I am looking forward that BlackStorm will be more involved in the interactions between governments at the national level to bring in more advanced technology and help local businesses to expand globally.
How and why did you join BlackStorm Consulting?
I have known BlackStorm Consulting through friends of mine and I was impressed by the digital and business interactions services offered to both consumers and organisations. BlackStorm Consulting team is sharp and attentive to consumers’ needs for a better experience across the products and services and organisations to seeking for new positioning in revamping their existing business model.
I have been advising different organisations in the past and they always face the same challenge in structuring their business due to the barriers of the traditional mindset and limited capacity. Witnessing how BlackStorm is able to help these companies through their methodologies of People, Product, and Process makes me believe in helping businesses to overcome their challenges and embrace the evolution of business by putting all the capabilities and resources together.
What are the digital transformation trends and goals that can be achieved by BlackStorm Consulting in 2023?
The higher accessibility of technology will foster the stronger emergence of solutions like cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. These technologies will become more critical to keep their businesses safe and discovering more opportunities.
By building, selecting, engaging and connecting to outstanding service providers and organisations, I believe BlackStorm will be able to generate more value for ecosystem players in different industries.
It will be significant to share valuable insights and provide professional advice for both private and public sectors in Malaysia. This is important as we look forward to helping more businesses to hit new milestones in 2023.
