August 30, 2023: In the heart of Singapore’s innovation hub, Wow! Taiwan Project proudly presented the “Singapore Smart Energy Challenges x Taiwan Solutions” event on 30 August 2023, a groundbreaking gathering highlighting the path toward a more sustainable energy future.
Held at the epicentre of research and development, The Smart Urban Co-Innovation Lab, this event was more than just a gathering; it was a dynamic showcase of visionary Taiwanese smart energy providers offering groundbreaking solutions to Singapore’s ever-evolving market. The program was a hopeful experience, promising to illuminate the world of smart energy like never before.
At the core of Wow! Taiwan Project’s mission is to discover and curate the most innovative and state-of-the-art products and technological solutions emerging from Taiwan. Their goal is to facilitate global connections between suppliers and buyers, fostering a thriving international business ecosystem.
Initiated under the guidance of BOFT (Bureau of Foreign Trade) and brought to life by the expertise of CDRI (Commerce Development Research Institute), Wow! Taiwan Project has pioneered a secure online platform known as D2B (Direct to Business). This platform is the nexus where buyers and suppliers exchange ideas, products, and opportunities.
At the event, Taiwan’s leading smart energy providers introduced integrated solutions spanning renewable energy, energy storage, and energy efficiency. These solutions were categorised into three major industries: Electric Vehicle Related, Smart Power Total Solution, and Smart Energy Total Solution. We were presented with solutions from eTreego, Taiwan Vehicle Charging (TVCC), Hedian Digital Integration Technology (HDiT), NextDrive, Apollo. Furthermore, distinguished speakers from CapitaLand, Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERIAN), EcoWise, and Evercomm provided their valuable insights and expertise on innovation and sustainability.
Along with showcases, the event included a 1-to-1 business matching platform. This enabled attendees to meet the right partners, whether they were seeking potential suppliers, collaborations, or business opportunities. With this personalized approach, each moment at the event was maximized, transforming introductions into long-term partnerships.
