CEREC Asia is a certified CEREC CAD/CAM training institute founded by Dr. Tsao Hao-Wei in 2016. He is also a Dental Director and owner of Sweet Space Dental Clinic. CEREC is one of the most renowned developments in digital dentistry. It is a method wherein CAD/CAM is applied for digital impression taking, using one or more scans, designing the restoration using software and manufacturing the restoration by milling or 3D printing.
CEREC Asia is an authorised independent training centre for official Dentsply Sirona training certifications. Between 2017 and 2018, 77 courses were conducted. Other than on-site training, CEREC Asia also provides digital courses. The group has developed their first product called EasyPrep, which has been distributed by dealers locally and is in talk to distribute to countries like China, Malaysia and Thailand.
