December 16, 2021: BlackStorm Consulting and BEYOND4 jointly announced a partnership to assist startups and talents from BEYOND4’s accelerators to grow and scale their business. The partnership will allow companies within BEYOND4’s ecosystem to expand their presence locally and regionally, using a hybrid model with online and offline tools. Leveraging on Xprenia, a digital learning platform spin-off developed by BlackStorm Consulting, entrepreneurs and companies within BEYOND4’s ecosystem will have access to Xprenia’s suite of digital learning tools to upskill their workforce and achieve their business objectives at an accelerated speed.
With COVID-19 accelerating digitalization across many countries, the demand of skilled IT professionals has grown. According to Gartner’s 2021-2023 Emerging Technology Roadmap for Large Enterprises, the lack of IT talents is one of the most significant barriers for the adoption of IT. To meet this demand for IT professionals, BEYOND4 has developed an Ecosystem consisting of 5 digitally integrated multi-tier accelerators in Education, Skills, Career, Startup, and Innovation. The BEYOND4 Ecosystem is designed to spur digital innovation and provide support for all individuals, from future digital talents to innovators and start-up entrepreneurs. The initiatives by the accelerators are targeted to identify & nurture talents from grassroot levels, helping them to scale and grow exponentially.

At the MOU Signing Ceremony, Paddy Tan, Managing Director of BlackStorm Consulting, along with Alan Lim, President of the Malaysian Angel Business Network, Dash Dhakshinamoorthy, Founder of Startup Malaysia, and Sam Shafie, Founder and CEO of pitchIN Platform (a crowdfunding platform), were part of a panel discussion sharing insights and advice on the startup scene in Malaysia.
BlackStorm Consulting would also like to congratulate BEYOND4 for signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) and DIGITAL PENANG leading organisations in the Digital Economy of Malaysia. The partnership will enable MDEC to provide the mentorship network which will co-create and support the digital ecosystem structure by facilitating BEYOND4’s talent development initiatives, funding opportunities, market access activities. Through this partnership, BEYOND4 aims to create a neutral, non-competing, open vendor eco-system to assist startups with upskilling workers for the digital industry.
Separately, BEYOND4 has announced another partnership with TalentCorp, a national agency that drives Malaysia’s talent strategy towards becoming a dynamic talent hub. This partnership will allow TalentCorp to support BEYOND4’s programs and initiatives with expertise, marketing, and funding, and will assist BEYOND4’s efforts in reaching into smaller districts and towns in Malaysia.
